Today I didn’t wake up to April showers, but to April SNOW showers! It is freezing for this time of year. Wind is blowing. Snowflakes were falling this morning. It is spring, right?!?! It’s like we are going backwards in weather!
Heavy coat
Not light jacket
Cold weather
Not warm weather
Sweater
Not short sleeves
Tall Boots
Not sandals
Pants
Not dresses
Snowflakes falling
Not rain falling

My kids are so confused with this weather and have been trying to get a hold of Mother Nature to straighten things out. 🙂

I thought about wearing my heavy down coat today, but resisted the temptation. It’s APRIL for Pete’s sake. How can this be the weather here in PA?!?!?

I am so ready for real, late May spring. Not looking forward to sitting out at my son’s track meet with my ear warmers and heavy winter jacket tomorrow 😦

Love your poem! It certainly is crazy weather. Luckily I got to spend most of the day at Longwood Gardens – indoors and out. I definitely found spring, although it was cold!
