It’s official!
So many emotions flooding through me.
Excited to finally have the house up after a year of wanting to put it on the market. A new beginning is in our near future.
Nervous about getting the offer we need to sell the house. Not knowing how long it will take to sell. Finding our new perfect house.
Happy to finally be close to moving closer to work which means early mornings and long drives will be a thing of the past.
Sad to say goodbye to our first house together. A house we loved and enjoyed for 9 years.
Exhausted from all the cleaning and straightening up. Organizing and decluttering. Late nights.
Amazed that we have had 3 showings and 1 tomorrow with the house only being on the market for 6 days.
Just the beginning of our new endeavors!

I get so emotional when I think about ever moving out of our house since this is our first house together. (My husband and I have no intention of moving right now, but sometimes we think about moving closer to his job and I just cannot imagine that.)
All that said, you’ll take the sweet memories too!

Oh good luck to you! I moved out of state 2 years ago, it was really hard but loving our new home! The hardest is keeping it perfect during the “showing period” LOL

Very exciting. Good luck. We are in our second house now for 27 years. We think about moving to a rancher, but the thoughts of purging all the “stuff” we have collected here and everything left behind by our children is more than I can stand!

My husband purchased our home right after we started dating. After 33 years I’ve never moved, never gone house shopping….also never purged the basement. We’ll be here forever! Good luck with your transition.
