Gloomy, gray skies
Ongoing for days
Mood is blue
Wish the sun would peek out
Spring showers are necessary I know
But could use a little break from all the dreariness
Get kids outside to play for recess
Not have my hair frizz and curl
Sun, please come out and let us enjoy your brightness!

A great idea to write about the rain, Shelly! I like writing rain poems, but I, too, am longing for a bit of sun….maybe today/ A great description of what many of us are feeling – a break from the dreariness!I really like your last line where you address the sun directly. The photo says it all!

The sun managed to come out for about 30 minutes today. Trying really hard to be grateful for that!
