I try to get in some sort of workout three days a week. Depending on the week, sometimes less sometimes more (rarely more). Now with all the extra time, I find myself doing a workout almost daily since my gym is accommodating its members by remotely hosting workouts live on Instagram! So far this week…yoga, a run outside (had to take advantage of the beautiful day), and barre.
A workout for me is so much more than getting into physical shape. It’s for my mental and emotional state of mind as well. It is an escape. It is a stress-reliever. It is an attitude adjustment. It is a mood changer. It has so many benefits!
I had many health issues for years. I never thought I would be running 5Ks or doing various workouts. I overcame many obstacles over the years. Exercise has been extremely beneficial. Exercise is my outlet. Exercise is my victory!
